Perfect Cube Silicone Ice Molds - Set of 2

I went from hard plastic trays to these to reduce plastic exposure, and I'm very happy with them. The one thing I was worried about - that the ice is actually hard to remove - is sort of a thing if you're taking out individual cubes. But I keep a metal bowl in the freezer, invert a frozen tray over the bowl, and dump them all at once with a thumb to the bottom of the mold - mild annoyance avoided. Besides that, these cubes are pretty much the perfect size and much preferred to the rectangles of regular hard plastic trays. Would definitely recommend these overall.

I tried the ice cube tray with cover. The cover was popped off when the water froze. I had a very hard time removing the cubes. I'm 80 and my hands and fingers are stiff to begin with so that had something to do with it I suppose. Someone with normal use of their hands and fingers will probably not have a problem.
